VDO Fielding Clinic

Dear Little League Families,

We’re thrilled to announce a Professional Fielding Clinic designed to elevate our players’ skills and passion for baseball. Valley De Oro Little League has collaborated with Mata Athletics to provide a unique opportunity for players to receive expert, position-specific coaching from Anthony Mata, a professional baseball player who began his journey right here at VDO.

This clinic goes beyond basic training. Players will learn:

Advanced fielding techniques
Proper positioning
Game-situational awareness
Professional-level defensive strategies

Opportunity is Limited: Each division is capped at 20 players. This is your chance to give your young athlete professional-level instruction from someone who has walked the path from Little League to professional baseball.

Date	Saturday, December 13th, 2025
Cost	$35 per player
Duration	1 hour 15 minutes per session
Includes	Snack bag and sports drink for each participant

Clinic Sessions
T-Ball/Caps (Ages 5-7) 9:00-10:15 AM
Minors (Ages 8-10) 10:45-12:00 PM
Majors (Ages 11-12) 12:30-1:45 PM
Intermediates (Ages 13-14) 2:00-3:15 PM

Player Preparation: Encourage your young athlete to arrive 30 minutes early, bring a water bottle, wear comfortable athletic clothing, and most importantly, come with a positive attitude ready to learn and grow.
